Ask a silly question

I've just noticed that lovely Lane has beaten me to this topic (great minds think alike etc) so I changed my template in a fury. Not really. More as a distraction. I couldn't think of anything else to blog about you see. My mind isn't that great.
Anyhoo, I had a look at my stats today (as you do) and under Keyword Analysis noticed that the following Google searches had led people to my blog...

what is putty face in plastic surgery gone wrong ??

sun hat hip hurray youtube ???

karen clarke writing - well, that makes sense

grime name generator - hmm, don't know about that, but my mafia name is Stella the Assassin. Apparently

colin firth
- That makes sense too

grannies wearing slips - What the...?

where to buy bloater paste - Pur-leeze. I feel sick.

brande roderik
- Well. She looks no better than she ought to be. Appeared in a film called 'Bunny Whipped.' Need I say more?

i was born under a wandering star lines - I wasn't born, my grandma knitted me. So there.

I sincerely hope they all found what they were looking for.

I'm looking for Colin Firth. Have I come to the right place?

oooh snazzy new look! Very nice.

Grannies wearing slips and bloater paste. Oh dear oh dear. That is not healthy. Not healthy at all.

You've got some great search words. Mine tend to be a bit dull 90% of the time :o(

BTW this one

"sun hat hip hurray youtube "

is someone looking for an online video of the song "The sun has got his hat on, hip hip hip hooray, the sun has got his hat on and he's coming out today!"

They probably have a bored toddler they want to entertain!

I'm very jealous of your mafia name, mine is butter knife teresa! The mind boggles. Thank you for saying "Colin Firth", just the words make me happy...

Gawd, thought I'd knocked at the wrong house for a minute and was going to have to make embarrassing small talk before skulking away...
But no, there you were, talking about things called stats. Eh? What's them then?? Have I got some?

I don't know how you do this search thing, sounds like fun.

Clarkey, you're getting all arty farty on us with the new template. I had a mad notion that you're left handed with sidebar being on the left. So are you? TFx

Ha ha. I love stats. Grannies wearing slips is so much funnier than people trying to get tea stains out of silk. DRINK your tea, I say, not spill in down your front. Honestly.

I would like a knitted Karen Clarke and a real Colin Firth for Christmas, please.

(This is supposed to be attached to above comment.)

I'm with Tam and Cait
What stats? Where is the Keyword Analysis thingie?
This post of yours didn't register in the Favourite Places sidebar on my blog. I wonder if that's because you changed your template (in a fury)?

Love granny slips - do tell :-)

Granny slips eh? Ooh, nice. The last hit on my blog today was from a random search for 'drunken mouthing'. Oh dear.

Granny slips reminds me of Britney Spears on Frank Skinner's show years ago, talking about 'granny pants' and laughing. Except Frank didn't get the joke because he thought she was saying 'grainy pants' or somesuch. Just couldn't cope with the accent.

You probably had to be there.

I love the new look! Its great isn't it, anytime we feel like moving house or moving the furniture around we can go on and change our blog appearance! Now two things....these stat yokeys? How does one get some?! And second, I read something you said about Jane Fallons new book and that you had enjoyed it? Can I ask you to pop over to trashionistas site and back up my review?! Ta!!!

FYI - If you go to http://www.statcounter.com/ you'll be able to attach a free stat counter to your blog (mine is at the bottom on the right) and keep track of visitors and where they come from and how they arrived. Which is nice :o)

More means of procrastination - excellent. I've got me one now and look forward to being a cyber stalker.

Oh the Colin Firth one was probably me. Or was it the knitting search?

helenmh - You have. But I'm keeping him locked in the cupboard :o)

lane - Grannies wearing slips EATING bloater paste. Now that would give me nightmares!!

calistro - Ah yes, that kind of makes sense! I'll try that one next time I'm bored :o)

denise - Butter Knife Teresa? Good heavens. Doesn't sound very scary does it? Except to butter, possibly. (Colin Firth, Colin Firth, Colin Firth!)

tam - Yes you have come to the right place, and hopefully you've gorn and got yourself some lovely stats now!

cait - Like most things, it can get a bit addictive!

tommo - Not 'proper' arty though, like your good self :o) I'm not left-handed, which probably explains a lot. Aren't lefties meant to be more creative??

jj - I'm trying to resist googling it myself, because I'm not sure I want to know!

annie bright - Obviously Gran dropped a few stitches, but Colin Firth is intact - and unavailable sadly.

patp - Hopefully you've sussed the stats situation now :o) Maybe your "favourite places" didn't want me there :o(

liz fenwick - I've honestly got no idea how those words led to my blog! P'raps I should investigate...

spiralskies - I just sicked up into my hand...

honeysuckle - I remember that! Grainy pants...sounds nuch worse than slips :o)

fionnuala - It's just another way of not Getting On With It really, but fairly harmless! I love Trashionista by the way, and will get meself over there sharpish :o)

tam - This is where you can see who your most loyal readers (NOT stalkers) are :o)

debs - Well, now you mention it - it could have been ME!
